Looking For Alaska

Looking for Alaska is a good book. I haven't gotten to far in the book because I just started it so far Don't know why its called looking for Alaska. So far whats happened is the main character gets sent to his dads old boarding school. This boarding school is crazy the "good" kids are acting like thugs but there being nice to him there showing him around and introducing him. So far i like the book but it looks like something big is going to happen.
This book has a lot of themes good, bad, evil, hate and a lot more. The main character is starting to become a thug he used to be a good kid now he is drinking and smoking at a young age and doing other stuff I wont list. The sad thing is this does not only happen in the book it happens with real life to and that is crazy the teens or kids are doing this. If i was in the main characters shoes I would not give into peer pressure and just live a clean life. I recommend this book to teens and adults.

The Hunger Games freedom focus

I have been reading the book the Hunger Games it is a long book. Recently I have noticed a connection with the book and our ELA classes. Today in class we talked about freedom and I remembered my book and I noticed that they have almost no freedom in the book. In the book it looks like there being pushed around by the capital. The capital tells then everyone must be there for the choosing for the Hunger Games because they might get chosen and the people have to obey so in the book there is little freedom.
Later in the book when Rue dies which is really sad there's a huge fight between the district that's Rues from and the capital. If they have stood up for there freedom earlier that might have not happened to the district or the capitol. I noticed something new I noticed that if you have no freedom it makes you someones slave in the book there all slaves they all here a command from the capitol and they obey without any hassle. I don't think that they care they have no freedom unless there safe. Its sad that some people don't have any freedom. I hope one day that can change.

Catching Fire

I am in the middle of  the second book continuing the Hunger Games. Its been quite interesting but i say the first book was better. This book is like the winning round hunger games. For those of you who don't know hunger games is a tradition they do by taking one male and one female tribute and they fight until there is only one left. that really cruel and they do this not mostly for tradition but for entertainment. So the main character of the book is Katniss and Peeta is like the secondary main character and they both have to compete in the winners round of the hunger games.
I must say this book is very harsh. I winder where the author of these books got here inspiration for these cruel books. If i was in this book I probably would be the first to be killed. I wonder if Katniss has the feeling of being scared because she always looks so calm. I feel bad for Peeta he was an ordinary baker then all this happened to him. All this because they don't want anybody to overthrow the capitol that's sad. I recommend this books to teens because this book gets a little violent at some parts.

Ghostopolis

I have start reading the book Ghostopolis. The beginning of the book reveals so much. They give you the problem the main character is facing they introduce the characters and more. What this book is about is a boy who has a sickness and has went to a lot of doctors and they say he is going to die and there is no cure to his sickness. That is one of the problems the main character.
If you want to know more read the book he gets into a bigger problem. Garth is in a very tough place he doesn't have much time to live and he is just a kid and he cant do anything about it. Garth is saying to his mom i am going to die anyway so why do you keep trying and this scares his mom because she loves her son and doesn't want him to die. If i was in Garth's place I don't know what I would do

Dilemma study

the topic that I chose was child abuse. Child abuse is a problem because not only can it lead to deformities and mental issues it can also influence them to do it to there kids. The way I think they should stop this is by putting stricter laws and letting children a louder voice because the adults could deny everything and they might believe them. The approach I an taking is the common good approach. the good thing is I am not alone there are laws that can put you in jail for years as punishment if you hurt your child.
Child abuse is a terrible thing it influenced your child to hurt other people if you do something wrong so if you hit your child think it over before you hit him think it over or just tell him with words that he did something wrong and should be corrected. Child abuse is a terrible thing don't let it happen to your child.

The Hunger Games

I just started reading the Hunger Games because I just saw the movie and i have to say it very long and detailed. The author explains with so much detail its like she is there. I personalty liked the movie so far better then the book because when you can see it how other people see it its amazing. The book is very easy to understand so so far what I have read so far that  katniss  (The main character) sister got chosen for the hunger games and she volunteered to participate for her because she is a good sister like that and she is very young.
If i got chosen for the hunger games I would be so scared and try to run. If it was my brother I would say god bye i will miss you. These hunger games are insane and I hope we don't come to a future where we have to do this. My strategy for the hunger games is i would run and find or make shelter find water then try to get weapons. I would recommend this book to teens because it is a little violent in the middle of the story.
